Attorneys in Collinsville, Illinois: Workers' Compensation
Over 37 Years of Combined Experience
For most types of workplace injuries, your rights to recover benefits are governed by workers' compensation laws. There are specific procedures you must follow, however, to receive the benefits to which you are entitled. You need an experienced lawyer to guide you through the process, one who knows the law and has successfully helped others in similar circumstances.
At Brunton Law Offices, we bring over 37 years of combined legal experience to injured workers in the Metro East area in southern Illinois and eastern Missouri. We combine outstanding academic credentials with a commitment to a high level of personal service and attention. Our attorneys both finished near the top of their respective law school classes and provide keen insight and legal acumen to men and women throughout the workers' compensation process. Our Workers' Compensation Practice
We handle all aspects of a workers' compensation claim, from the preparation and filing of an application for benefits to the gathering and submission of medical evidence to support your claim to appeals from denials of claims. We will work closely with you to make certain that you follow the correct procedures, that your employer is properly notified of your injury, that you get the medical care you need and that all bills and necessary records are submitted to the insurance company. We will also seek total temporary disability payments for you if you are not able to work.
Our goal in all workers' compensation matters is to help you qualify for and receive the highest amount of compensation to which you are entitled. We regularly work with individuals who have been injured and are off work, but who are not getting the treatment they need because they are not getting their medical bills paid. We will help you resolve any difficulties you have and get your medical issues taken care of, as well as any permanent disability matters. We also handle Social Security disability claims for people who cannot work because of injury or illness.
We focus our representation on two specific types of injuries:
- Injuries suffered on the job in industrial or construction accidents
- Repetitive stress or carpal tunnel injuries.
We also represent workers in claims involving discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination. To learn more, see our page on employment law.
